Things that I have learnt in week 1

During the first day of class, I was goggling to find out what is ICT is all about and how is ICT important in young children. And I came up with research where ICT is not an appropriate tool for supporting young children’s learning and development. Most authors note the need for practitioners to be aware of health and safety issues around children’s use of ICT, and for these to be attended to in early childhood education center and ICT policies and practices. This includes attention to children’s physical development and ergonomic safety besides that being mindful against children’s exposure that is inappropriate.
